Director of Career and Technical Education (CTE)

Grand County School District Career and Technical Education, 604 S. 400. E., Moab, UT

Responsible for the planning, implementation and coordination of all career and technical education programs within the district. Develops and implements rigorous workforce and college preparation pathways in partnership with Utah institutions of higher education; Partners with School Principals, the SCSC (Student Career Success Center), and individual CTE teachers, to implement effective instructional practices with a focus on increased academic rigor and performance; Implements and administers Board Policies, federal and state laws, for the purpose of providing direction and/or complying with mandated requirements. Other duties as assigned.

Family Medical, Life, LTD and Retirement - per GCSD Policy

Master's degree in job-related field or equivalent, with a minimum of three years in Career Technical Educational. Background experience in building level administration is beneficial, although not required. Current (or able to obtain) a Utah Professional Educator School Leadership License and a CTE Utah Teaching License (or a related license area).
