We are hiring!

With four schools and more than 1,500 students, there’s an opportunity for everyone to find their place in Grand County School District. We are proud of the achievements we’ve made and the goals we have to continue improving public education. Although the work is big, no job is too small to make it count. Our roles may vary, but one thing is always the same – our shared passion to have a meaningful impact on the lives of our students in the city we love. Please consider joining our team!

Governor Gary Herbert announces statewide health order

As you may be aware, yesterday Governor Gary Herbert issued a new statewide health order. Grand County School District will follow this order. So, for the next two weeks, until November 23, no extracurricular activities will be allowed. This includes high school and middle school athletics and activities, BEACON, and mentoring. No practices or competitions of any kind will be held. If a student wants to exercise independently not using school facilities, he/she may do so. GCSD staff is hopeful that this two week shut down will help in decreasing the statewide escalation of COVID-19 cases. Group meetings may occur virtually via Zoom or another platform, but can only be meetings (not practices or competitions). Thanks in advance for your support. We know that as a community we can do anything we strive to achieve if we do it together.
