- Empower students to feel ownership of their education
- Prepare for their futures by providing college visits, career introduction, field trips, and new experiences
- Advocate for student academic success alongside parents, principals, counselors and teachers.
Native American Parent Committee
Grand County School District and the Title VI Coordinator provide space and help facilitate a Native American Parent Committee whose purpose is to set goals, objectives, and purposes for how Title VI grant funds are spent and what the priorities are for Title VI programs.
Meetings are held every Third Tuesday of the Month at Margaret L. Hopkin Middle School at 5:15 p.m. All parents, or guardians of Native American, Alaskan, and Hawaiian students are welcomed to participate and contribute to the parent committee.

506 Forms
The 506 Form is the primary way our title vi grant is funded. Students that are registered with a 506 form on file help us to fund programming for clubs and other activities offered for indigenous students and their families.
506 Forms must be filled out only once for each student once they are in our district and are kept in their file.
If you're curious if you've filled out a 506 form, check in with your front desk and they will provide you with a form if needed.
