Governor Gary Herbert announces statewide health order

As you may be aware, yesterday Governor Gary Herbert issued a new statewide health order.  Grand County School District will follow this order.  So, for the next two weeks, until November 23, no extracurricular activities will be allowed.  This includes high school and middle school athletics and activities, BEACON, and mentoring.  No practices or competitions of any kind will be held.  If a student wants to exercise independently not using school facilities, he/she may do so. GCSD staff is hopeful that this two week shut down will help in decreasing the statewide escalation of COVID-19 cases.  Group meetings may occur virtually via Zoom or another platform, but can only be meetings (not practices or competitions). Thanks in advance for your support.  We know that as a community we can do anything we strive to achieve if we do it together.
