Pandemic-EBT Information & Resources
The Families First Coronavirus Response Act created the Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) program, an important opportunity to provide nutritional resources to families who lost access to free or reduced-price school meals as school across the country closed in March in response to COVID-19.
These benefits are now available to the children of Utah, Pandemic-EBT (PEBT). This program provides a one-time benefit of $308 to children enrolled in participating National School Lunch Programs who were eligible to receive free or reduced price school meals on March 16, 2020. This program is being implemented by the Utah Department of Workforce Services. Families who haven’t been notified of P-EBT eligibility must complete the online application available on the DWS P-EBT website https://jobs.utah.gov/covid19/pebt/index.html.
The deadline for households to complete the application is August 31, 2020.
