*Leadership: 1/29, Grand County School District Board Room, 10-11:30AM.

This interesting and empowering training session will cover: Conflict resolution, dealing with diversity, and problem-solving skills. You will learn how to help your mentee work with others and address challenges in his or her life. This training will not just cover leadership topics but also show you how to integrate them into your mentoring sessions. Come to this workshop and learn how to let your mentee discover the leader in him/herself while honing your own skills.

This is for new mentors. Learn about how to be a great mentor, school procedures, and what to expect when you start. There are 2 sessions available. Every mentor must come to one session. Open to teachers, administrators, counselors, and others.

With ideas for most age groups, this training will ease your anxiety about what you’re going to do with your mentee next. Don’t miss this fun opportunity to expand your mentoring repertoire.

*Higher Order Thinking Game Boards & Scrapbooking: 1/31, Grand Area Mentoring Office, 10-11:30AM.

Logik Services will introduce digital scrapbooking creation and editing, a fun and educational activity for mentors to engage with their mentees. The higher order game board portion of the session will cover many of the new games not available in the mentoring rooms. You will learn how to introduce and use them effectively.
