Dynamic Mentoring
Mentors get together with students every week and come up with fun things to do. Our mentors use their amazing creativity to inspire students to learn, investigate, and be curious about the world. At the schools that they attend every day, students discover new ways to undersand and interact with the world. These opportunities are not only for the mentees; the mentors discover just as much!
Here mentors and mentees have embarked on a creative project: to make cheesecake. Not a seious challenge... but there's a catch! Devin and Zak had to put the directions (written on index cards) in order and follow their instruction exactly as they had set them. It was risky, but the cake was tasty. |
Jamas and Tim used the vast and powerful World Wide Web to find... a computer game. |
Who are these very flat characters? Postcards from distant places will record their journey.

Megan and Brooke read the book, Flat Stanley, and then they created their own Flat Stanleys. These two were folded up, put into an envelope with a letter, and set loose in the US Postal Service. Where will their Flat Stanleys go next? |
How can you take part in these fun activities with a student eager to learn about new ideas, exciting activities, and YOU? How can you learn more about becoming a mentor?
