Space Limitations
Currently there is a need for at least one more classroom. The office is crowded when several people enter at the same time. The teacher workroom and lounge are not adequate in size. The current conference room is crowed when 5 people enter. Public restrooms in the main building are too small. |

Facility DeficienciesThe bathrooms are not fully accessible per ADA requirements. The chimney needs to be removed to prevent collapse. Bad and cold weather creates discomfort to students who have to leave the room to use the restrooms and to rotate classes. The kitchen is not designed to current sanitary and health codes. The boiler room equipment is in need of replacement. |

Equipment DeficienciesElectrical wiring throughout the building is a concern. The office and many classrooms are in need of more outlets. The boiler is old and has problems with piping and water supply. The water coming out of the faucets is often discolored. |

Compliance /Safety IssuesThe restrooms do not meet ADA Standards. The modular classroom is located too close to main building, which does not meet current building code. The chimney is un-reinforced masonry and may collapse. There is no assessable drop-off zone for students in front of the building. There is no emergency power for exit lights. Because of the open access to the classrooms, it is nearly impossible for a lock-down. There is no fire detection in the classrooms. |

Technology NeedsCurrently we are under the process of going wireless. Due to the construction materials of the existing buildings, a wireless system is not very effective. Our mobile lab is starting to show its age and the batteries need to be replaced. There is a pressing need for more projectors for the classroom teachers. |
