While educational buildings are the Grand County School District's priority, the Maintenance/Transportation Department building needs a few repairs. The building was originally constructed in 1993.
The following issues may be addressed in the future:
- The need for four new swamp coolers (large) and one new refrigerated unit for the office area
- Better (concrete) drainage for the north side of the building, to help prevent rusting of the steel building
- ADA restrooms
- Larger office area, records storage space, and a conference area
- Additional wharehouse space to hold the supplies for the district.
