NEW HELEN M. KNIGHT SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION

The new Elementary School has been designed to accommodate the
District’s existing elementary school student population now being housed
at Red Rock Elementary K-3 and HMK Intermediate 4-6 Schools. Because of
the 2 schools merging into one, the school district was concerned with the
large size of the student population. To help break-down the large school
into smaller student centered groups a grade level community and a “school
within a school” were developed.
